As a motion designer at Cloudpay, I played a crucial role in the content development team, crafting engaging and visually compelling marketing and sales materials that helped to elevate the brand and generate valuable leads.

Transforming Brand Awareness Through Strategic Video Content
CHALLENGE
As CloudPay continued to grow and establish itself as a leading brand in the fin-tech and payroll industry, it became clear that updating and revamping the video library was crucial.
Not only did CloudPay want to increase brand awareness and strengthen client relations through more engaging content, but we also needed to ensure that all of their marketing materials aligned with their new brand guidelines.
By refreshing CloudPays video library, they could achieve all of these goals and establish a cohesive brand image.
SOLUTION
Collaborating with sales, product, and copywriting teams, I led the creation of a dynamic video content library that:
Enhanced brand storytelling – Developed visually engaging, on-brand videos for marketing and client education.
Created synergy across departments – Designed custom graphics, animations, and motion content to unify messaging.

CloudPay Training / Explainer Video
Transforming Complex Product Messaging into Engaging, Visual Storytelling
ABOUT
The goal of this project was to convert a content-heavy PowerPoint presentation into an engaging explainer video. The original material explained the benefits of CloudPay’s “Data on Demand” service an internal platform feature designed to keep payroll data accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
Instead of presenting static slides full of technical language, I used motion design to bring clarity, pace, and visual interest to the subject. The final video made the process easily digestible for both CloudPay clients and employees, improving understanding and engagement across teams.
Visual Development
Once the script and structure were approved, I translated CloudPay’s brand language into a modular visual system using Illustrator and Photoshop. Key platform feature, like certified data connectors, data validation, and real-time updates, were represented through clear and consistent iconography and UI-inspired visuals.
Each scene was intentionally designed to:
1. Communicate abstract platform functions with simple metaphors.
2. Support smooth transitions and scene pacing.
3. Allow for looping sequences and animation reuse.
These assets were then prepared for animation in After Effects, ensuring scalability and alignment with CloudPay’s internal media formats.
Anatomy of a Storyboard
To streamline collaboration across departments and avoid production bottlenecks, I created a detailed storyboard using Microsoft Word, structured with three key columns:
Voiceover – Scripted narration to guide story rhythm
On-screen copy/notes – Supporting text, UI labels, or messaging
Visuals – Diagrams, motion references, or links to animation style examples
