Project
DESIGN AND ANIMATE FOR A
DISPLAY SCREEN
Tools Used
After Effects, Photoshop, Premier Pro
CHALLENGE
I was faced with the challenge of meticulously extracting all moving elements from the provided photographs to create clean plates and then constructing rigs for those elements, all while ensuring the final animation maintained the desired visual aesthetic as outlined in the mood boards.
SOLUTION
Using Photoshop's content-aware tool, I was able to streamline the tedious process of creating clean plates and cutting assets from photographs. Pneumonia
To further simplify the task of compositing animated assets, I organized them into their own folders for easy access later on
IMPACT
The final installation currently sits in the newly opened US Olympic Museum in Colorado Springs, the 60,000-square-foot museum hopes to tell compelling stories behind some monumental events and artifacts using media and technology.
